Supra Skytop TUF & 413 silvers!

Supra used “TUF’ materials that was engineered to outlast, or should we say built to last long.

According to the reviews, the TUF Skytops materials will last for a long time and is pretty much indestructible! Skaters Chad Muska and Erik Ellington both said the TUF Skytops are by far the TUFest skate shoes ever (not in those exact words, but you get the idea). Here’s a look at two colorways, and be on the lookout for these to release on June 1st. No word on the retail price. via CtotheJL and ConcreteNY.

Supra Footwear will be releasing a very limited edition Skytop on Saturday, May 10th. To give you an idea of how limited these are, only 11 retailers in all of the United States will be receiving these Skytops, with 30 pairs being allocated to each shop. The predominantly silver and white shoes called, "413 Silver," will be the first release from a new series of footwear simply titled, "413." The name of this new series derives from Factory 413, which is located in Los Angeles, California. There's a list of retailers below.

Gucci Mens Releases for May 2008

Since Frida Giannini became the creative director of the mens wear line in 2006, the collection

became a bit louder and the use of large Gucci logos became apparent in the designs. Seen here are some new items from Gucci's Spring/Summer 2008 Collection. On the model above, he is wearing a red Gucci Nylon Jacket ($8,090 HKD), Gucci Checkered Shorts ($5,570 HKD) and a pair of Gucci Boat Shoes ($3,300 HKD)

In the second picture, the model is dressed in a more Punk style. He's wearing a Gucci Studded Tee ($11,800 HKD), a Gucci Red/Black Checkered Pants ($5,400 HKD) and a pair of Gucci Mid Cut Sneakers ($4,100 HKD)

New Releases from BBC|ICECREAM. They will be droppin this Saturday at the various flagships.Im so glad their dropping something new because those cards n cars tees were killing me slowly. Ill probably cop a hat along with the N.E.R.D. tee this weekend. Its gonna be crazy out there...hella people..but im going anyway...There nuttin better than a huge crowd of dudes with BBC on from head 2 toe;). Be there or be [].  (Square that is.)

N.E.R.D. BBC Flagship In Store Signing

Pharrell, Chad, and Shae make up rock/pop/hip-hop music group N.E.R.D. and will be in New York City as they make their stop along the "Glow in the Dark Tour". The group will also make a stop at the Billionaire Boys Club flagship store. A limited number of t-shirts will be sold this Sunday, May 11th, starting at noon. The signing will happen on May 13th from 4 PM to 6 PM where those of you who purchased a shirt can get your picture taken with one of the band members in addition to getting your N.E.R.D. BBC/Ice Cream t-shirt. 

This a once in a lifetime chance.I'm definitely going. Especially because i didn't get any tickets to the Tour . Bummer Huh :(

Alife Tokyo Flagship Store

Without much prior news nor noise, Alife's Tokyo Flagship store has opened in the heart of Harajuku, Japan. With wooden floors and slick black trims, the store looks very classy and spacious. The store will carry mostly Alife products including their Alife's own apparel and shoes. If you're in Tokyo, be sure to drop by.

Converse X Undefeated X (RED) "No Raw Dogs"

Being a sneakerfiend myself I immedietaly fell in love with these beautiful Chuck Taylor Allstars. 

I learned that Undefeated and Converse teamed up wo make these one of a kind Chuck’s as part of the 1HUND(RED) campaign. If you haven’t heard Converse 1HUND(RED) Artists is a year long global project to support Converse’s long-term partnership with (PRODUCT) RED and commemorate the brands 100th anniversary celebration in 2008. The theme for this particular canvas is “NO Raw Dogs”. Classic! Props to Undefeated for another great shoe! I got a few detailed pics.

Nike Blazer High- Red/Black/Silver

Here’s a look at the latest Nike Blazer that actually doesn’t look half bad. This Blazer High is composed of grey, red, and black with a metallic silver swoosh to tie everything in. The metallic swoosh is a nice compliment to grey and black upper. There hasn’t been much information released about this Blazer but it has been reported that it has a flower print on the insole. Expect to see the metallic silver Blazer High in stores soon. Via Sole Fresh.

Nike SB "720 Degrees" Dunks

Nike SB has been paying homage to the early days of skateboarding media with special Dunks that take inspiration from movie and video game covers. Two months ago, Nike SB released the Electronic Arts classic "Skate or Die" but this month will see Atari's“720 Degrees” Dunks.

Nike SB didn’t overlook any details with a checkerboard liner and all of the other neon colors making their way to the shoe via different panels, stitching, labels, and shoe laces. The “720 Degrees” Dunks are popping up at SB shops in May, but if they sell anything like the “Skate or Die” Dunks, it would be wise to be in touch with the spot sooner rather than later. 

I personally like the Skate or Die's better. But to each its own.

NIKE SB Mid Moat

Nike SB has joined with Barak Wiser of SPOT to release a very limited edition Nike SB Dunk Mid Moat. The sneakers will be available at Skatepark of Tampa on April 25th, 2008 for $95. I'd buy em.

Bape LA Opening Party

What a turnout. A number of celebs showed up for the opening of Bape LA. After month's of speculation, Bape Los Angeles has finally opened its doors. A huge round up of celebrities were in attendance including Mike "Quote Machine" Tyson, NERD, Dr. Romanelli, Kaws, Takashi Murakami and of course above all else Nigo. The store's decor is marked by traditional Bape influences including the sneaker conveyor belt neon lighting and liberal use of camo prints.
